Orthodontic Lab & Clinical Assistant

About the Job
We are seeking a positive, detail-oriented and reliable Sterilization Technician to expand our orthodontic team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our lab and clinical areas by supporting both patient care and office efficiency. 

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of performing clinical support tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team that values hard work, collaboration and excellent patient care. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sterilize dental instruments. 
  • Maintain proper sterilization records.
  • Fabricate orthodontic appliances, including retainers.
  • Print 3D dental models and prepare them for clinical use.
  • Upload images into patient charts using our dental imaging software.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab area. (e.g., keeping the lab counter organized, emptying trash, sweeping, overall maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace) 
  • Track and manage inventory of dental and lab supplies.
  • General filing of patient records and lab documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate appliance logs and patient appliance delivery timelines.
  • Training will also cover clinical dental assistant responsibilities to ensure flexibility in supporting the team as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous training in dental assisting or lab work is preferred; but willing to train the right candidate. 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills is a must. 
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a bonus; but not required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and visual accuracy are essential for fine laboratory tasks.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM.
  • Consistent weekday schedule with long weekends.
  • Holiday closures.
  • Supportive and team-oriented work environment.

Passionate about creating confident smiles, we offer traditional braces, clear aligners, and early treatment options like retainers, habit appliances, and phase I braces. Our positive, energetic team is committed to providing personalized care in a supportive, welcoming environment. Office hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
